Mono Print collage and paper cutting

DSCN1135 DSCN1132

I decided to have a look back at my print work that I did a few years ago. Im feeling somewhat  lost as to where I want to head with my work right now. I’ve been doing some stuff like cards, you know bread and butter work but I have to start thinking long term if I want to succeed as an artist. i found this book that I had done in my first year of university. Its a cut out book that documents my favourite times of holidaying in Perthshire in Scotland. I did a lot of mono prints and simple line drawings and then stuck them down to cut from them. I don’t think I appreciated this much at the time but I really love the delicacy of this piece. I loved not being to precious about things and I thinks thats what Id like to get back to if possible. DSCN1136 DSCN1137
